Course Overview and Description
This program is for
clients who knows auto-mechanic but need a refreshment in these areas and want
to obtain a certificate and/or want to apply to obtain the ASE
Certification.
Instruction is provided in Engine Performance Technology such
as: Engine fundamentals, tune-up, electrical system, fuel injection
systems, multiport, advanced automotive OBD II, waveforms sensors, data and
computerize components. An assessment/test is given to the student after the
completion of each module. The student must get a grade of 71-80 (C) or better
to pass the module. The course prepares students for an entry level
position in today’s automotive industry as an assistant to an auto mechanic
technician.
